StableRonaldo calls Clix over Fortnite Icon skin sales

Twitch streamer StableRonaldo reached out to fellow creator Clix on a recent stream after learning that Clix’s Fortnite Icon Series skin had reportedly hit around 5 million sales, placing it as the second top-selling Icon skin.

Clips circulating from the stream show StableRonaldo reacting to the figures and estimating the skin generated roughly $66 million in revenue for Fortnite. He then called Clix to discuss the numbers and ask how much the Fortnite pro and streamer personally earned from the deal. Clix ultimately hung up the phone during the conversation.

The Clix Icon Series outfit, priced at 1,500 V-Bucks, first released in the Item Shop on March 22 or 23, 2025, during Chapter 6 Season 2. It has returned multiple times since, including appearances into 2026. Community estimates in the clips vary slightly, with some references citing about 4.4 million units sold when calculating the revenue figure at roughly $15 per skin.

These sales and revenue numbers are estimates discussed on stream and have not been officially confirmed by Epic Games. Fortnite does not publicly release detailed Item Shop sales data for individual cosmetics. Similar past disclosures, such as Epic noting millions in sales for certain collab sets, have used comparable per-skin pricing assumptions based on V-Bucks packs.

Clix, whose real name is Cody Conrod, is a longtime Fortnite competitor and content creator known for FNCS success and a large following across Twitch and YouTube. His Icon Series skin marked a major milestone for the pro who rose to prominence as a young player. Creators with Icon skins typically receive a negotiated cut of sales or related compensation, though exact terms are private and can differ by deal. Clix has not publicly detailed his earnings from the skin in response to the call.

StableRonaldo, real name Rani Netz, is a popular Twitch variety and Fortnite streamer known for high-energy clips, reactions, and his association with the Core Boys group. He has more than 5 million Twitch followers and has long been part of the broader Fortnite creator scene alongside players like Clix. The two have collaborated and appeared together in content before, including apartment tours and shared streams.

The call comes as StableRonaldo has pursued his own Icon Series skin. He previously posted about receiving one set to release around early June 2026 after years in the scene, drawing mixed reactions from the community including from Clix at the time.

Icon Series skins have been a key part of Fortnite’s creator partnerships since the original Ninja outfit in 2020. They feature streamers, pros, musicians, and athletes, often bundling outfits, back blings, and emotes. High performers in the category have historically driven significant shop revenue, though usage stats track popularity differently from total sales over time.

Clips of the phone call quickly spread across X and other platforms, with fan accounts and clip channels highlighting StableRonaldo’s surprise at the volume and Clix’s reaction to the direct question about his cut. No further public comment from either creator on the specific sales figures has emerged beyond the stream moment.
