Dub claims MrBeast still owes him $10,000

Twitch streamer Dub, also known as NotQuiteLikeDuB and the older brother of rapper and streamer DDG, claimed that YouTuber MrBeast still owes him $10,000 from a challenge he won in one of MrBeast's videos.

Speaking on DDG's stream, Dub said no one from MrBeast's team has contacted him to collect his payment information. "No, nobody asked my information, nothing," he stated, adding that he needs his "10 racks."

Clips of the exchange circulated quickly on X. In one, Dub directly told his brother about the unpaid sum from the YouTube challenge. Multiple clip accounts shared the moment shortly after it aired.

This is not the first time Dub has raised the issue. In late July, he appeared visibly frustrated while discussing it with streamers Jason and Silky. He noted that MrBeast had not paid him and referenced the YouTuber's well-known philanthropy efforts with a pointed remark: "Africa's still waiting for the water." When asked if he wanted someone to call MrBeast, Dub declined, saying the creator would see the clip.

Dub, who streams under the handle NotQuiteLikeDuB, has built a following through Just Chatting and IRL content, often appearing alongside or in connection with his brother DDG (PontiacMadeDDG). The pair have had public moments both collaborative and contentious over the years.

Separately, Dub participated in Kai Cenat's Streamer University event in mid-July 2026 at Hendrix College. There, MrBeast hid multiple briefcases and bags each containing $10,000 across campus as part of a $100,000 treasure hunt for attendees. Clips showed Dub locating at least one or more of the cash prizes during the event, alongside other creators like ChrisNxtDoor. Those finds appear distinct from the earlier YouTube challenge prize he says remains unpaid.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for large-scale giveaways, challenges, and philanthropy videos on YouTube that frequently involve cash prizes for contestants and winners. His team typically handles logistics for payouts, though delays or administrative issues have occasionally been reported by participants in various creator challenges over the years.

As of the latest clips, there has been no public response from MrBeast or his team addressing Dub's specific claim. Dub has not detailed which exact MrBeast video or challenge the $10,000 stems from, nor has he indicated whether he has independently attempted to contact the production team beyond waiting for outreach.

The comments come amid ongoing visibility for both creators in the streaming space. DDG continues to balance music and streaming, while Dub maintains his own channel presence. Viewers in the clips reacted with a mix of surprise and calls for the payment to be sorted.
